This is the first new guitar I bought (in 1992). At the time, I didn't even own an electric guitar. The Telecaster caught my eye because some of my favorite guitarists played them, and I loved the sounds they got out of it: James Burton, Pete Townshend, Keith Richards, and Bruce Springsteen. My buddy Jeff Howell once called the Telecaster a "Working Man's Guitar." It's solid, heavy, and pretty much indestructible. This guitar has been with me from Colorado to Florida, then South Carolina, back to Florida, and now Pennsylvania. It was my go-to travel guitar when I was on the road for work, spending a lot of time in places like Hollywood, CA, and New York, NY.
